DURHAM, NC, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The International Association for Near-Death Studies will host its second European/African Symposium on Near-Death Experiences Saturday, October 31, 2026 via Zoom.— Robert Coppes
The four-hour event begins at 14:00 Central European Time or 9 am EDT. Four Europeans who have had near-death experiences will share their compelling, personal stories. They include Gina Lindroos of Sweden; Candice Purchase of South Africa; Lasse Gustavson of Sweden; and Rainer Sturm of Germany.
Two leading European scientists will also discuss their research. Nurse, researcher and author Dr. Penny Sartori will discuss her pioneering work conducting hospital-based research into NDEs, while Professor Patrizio Tressoldi, senior researcher at the University of Padua in Italy, will explore scientific approaches to mapping the afterlife.
Presentations will be delivered in English. Conference times across various zones are: 14:00-18:00 Brussels (CET) EU; 13:00-17:00 London (GMT) UK; 3:00-7:00 pm Jo'burg (SAST) SA; 9 am - 1 pm (EDT).
