JERUSALEM, ISRAEL, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- C2A Security, the context and AI-driven product security orchestration platform for software-defined products and cyber-physical systems, today announced that medical device cybersecurity leader Jörn Lubadel has joined the company’s Advisory Board in an independent capacity, separate from his role as Global Head of Product Security at B. Braun.— Roy Fridman
Lubadel brings more than 25 years of experience across healthcare technology, medical devices, product cybersecurity and regulatory environments. He is a DIN-delegated expert to ISO/IEC in health software and medical device cybersecurity and serves as Vice Chair for cybersecurity working groups at APACMed and MedTech Europe. He also contributes to AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) and is a frequent speaker at global industry events, including DigiCert’s Trust Summit, Secure Medicine’s Archimedes program and the NTIA Healthcare SBOM initiative. He focuses on embedding security by design throughout the product lifecycle and helping teams develop safe, compliant and scalable medical technologies.
As a member of C2A Security’s Advisory Board, Lubadel will advise the company on product strategy, market requirements and the evolving cybersecurity and regulatory challenges facing medical device manufacturers. His insight will help C2A advance its product security orchestration capabilities across secure development, lifecycle risk management, regulatory evidence, post-market monitoring and software supply chain security. He has also contributed to industry discussions around medical device cybersecurity, security by design and the growing intersection between connected products, digital trust and patient safety.
“Jörn brings a rare combination of deep technical understanding, regulatory experience and practical leadership in medical device security,” said Roy Fridman, CEO of C2A Security. “He understands that cybersecurity in healthcare is inseparable from product quality, patient safety and lifecycle risk management. His guidance will be invaluable as we continue expanding our platform to support medical device manufacturers and other highly regulated industries.”
“Medical device manufacturers are being asked to manage increasingly connected products, complex software supply chains and rapidly evolving regulatory expectations,” said Jörn Lubadel. “Meeting those expectations takes more than disconnected assessments and documents. Organizations need a continuous, lifecycle-based approach that connects product architecture, risk, vulnerabilities, compliance evidence and post-market activity. I look forward to advising C2A Security as it helps manufacturers address these challenges more effectively.”
C2A Security’s EVSec platform delivers continuous, AI-driven contextual risk management across the product lifecycle, enabling organizations to embed security by design, automate compliance and threat analysis, manage vulnerabilities and bills of materials, and enhance collaboration across engineering, product security, quality, regulatory and healthcare IT teams.
